Hello World,
I’m Dewey and I’m an adaptable, adorable and good natured little guy, about one year old and ten pounds. I am still very puppy-like, have a great personality and a happy smile, Of course with my gorgeous coloring people always stop and ask what I am and what I’m mixed with. Mom says she thinks I’m a Bichon Havanese – and I’m definitely mixed with cuteness!
Dad says I’m a darling little guy who gets along with everyone – and I get lots of practice. My doggy foster brothers and sisters are great teachers. They are showing me how to do all kinds of things including this thing called 'play!' One of my doggy foster sisters taught me this game called ‘chase and circle.’ (I bet you can figure out what we do, right?) We have so much fun together! Toys, and ‘specially bones, are already my favorites. Why I never met a bone I didn’t like! And when we get tired from all our activity, we curl up and take a nap. Dad says that makes the cutest picture!
Mom says that I am as sweet as can be and a real cuddle bug. (Silly Mom, I’m not a bug at all, just a furkid full of love for everyone I meet.) I love big people and little people -- and am gentle with kids. I’m also ready to cuddle and kiss at a moment’s notice. And did I mention that I even like cats? Well, I do!
You will know how smart I am when I tell you that I have already mastered the doggy door, know some commands like ‘sit’, am good on a leash and love to go for rides in the car. At night, when all the excitement and fun of the day is over, I curl up and sleep quietly in my crate. (But I sure would love to sleep on the Big People’s bed some day!)
Mom and Dad think that I would do well in any family situation. And I would especially love it if there a furkid or two and maybe some human kids in my forever family.
