Ziggy ~ Adoption Pending's Story...
Hi my name is Ziggy, I'm about 10 month old, but don't let that scare you, my foster mom tells me all the time how calm and perfect I'am. She taught me how to sit when I want something, now she's working on down and stay, I'm pretty smart so I should learn that fast. I'm already housebroken, I go to the door when I need to go, never had an accident in the house. I have a crate that I go into at night and when foster mom has to go somewhere, I don't even bark or cry in there, or when she leaves me alone. I love all humans, kids, and my foster dogs, I have 3 of them to play with, we chase each other in my big fenced in yard, we have so much fun..I love playing fetch with my tennis balls. My foster mom said I would make the perfect pet for someone, I listen well and love to please and give kisses, so If you want the best dog ever please fill out the application and give me my furever home, you won't be sorry I promise, just ask my foster mom!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy ~ Adoption Pending, a Youngstown Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Youngstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Youngstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
