My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there everyone!
I’m Kirby and I’m an angel with fur – or at least that’s what my foster mom thinks. She says I have eyes that sparkle like stars and the most amazing, angelic smile, a smile that lights up the room is how Mom describes it. (I don’t really know what all that means but I think it must be a good thing!) I just know that I’m a very happy and calm bichon boy of eight who loves life.
According to Mom, I’m also the most social guy at the dog park! I mix and mingle with everyone – big people, little people and all the other dogs, of course. At home I like to play tug-of-war with my stuffed toy and with the other FurKids when mom’s away. When she’s home, though, I really love to just be near her (like a little, white shadow.) Mom says whenever she can’t find me, she just looks behind her foot and there I am.
Now that I’m a furkid I have so many special things I haven’t had before – like toys and chewies and treats and walks and belly rubs and good food and a nice warm bed to sleep in (me and the other FurKids in the Big People’s Bed! Yipee!) Mom says I sleep contentedly all night long, just one lucky guy!
I let everyone know how grateful I am by being very sweet, calm, gentle and (most of all!) loving all the time. I try extra hard to do everything just right. I walk on a leash and ride in the car and use the doggy door and keep mom’s feet warm when she’s working on her computer. And when I want to make sure my foster family knows how happy I am, I do an amazing Bichon Buzz that makes everyone smile.
So I’m, sure by now that you know I’m a special kind of guy. I’m special in another way, too, ‘cause one of my eyes doesn’t see very well. You’d never know it by my activity level. And it doesn’t bother me one bit.
My life gets better every day and I can’t wait to find a forever home to light up with my smile and fill with my love. If you’re looking for your very own special angel, please ask to meet me.
Kisses & tail wags,
Kind and Kissable Kirby
