Lucy's Story...
This is Lucy. The 3rd sibling from the Wilcox Shelter. She is a little shy @ first but warms up quickly. She is also very sweet and plays well with everyone. Depending on her mood she will either be playing hard with one of the dogs or hanging out by herself in a corner or under the table, not being scared just seems like she feels safe there. Certain things she is unsure of @ first like: blender, wind chimes, umbrella but the 2nd time seeing them, doesn't care anymore. Totally kennel trained and is pretty good in the house so far. She is calmest @ night sleeping with her foster dad. Lucy's adoption fee is $225, which covers spay, vaccines, rabies, and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Gilbert Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
