ADOPTION PENDING! My name is Max and I am looking for a very special family to call my own. I am a rottie mix and everyone thinks I am about 2 years old. I was found and brought to a NYC shelter, but luckily my foster mom, saw me and fell in love and saved my life. I have to say, I am adjusting to non-city life just fine.... I love to take long walks, play ball, share hugs, kisses or just cuddle up and relax. I also know a few cool tricks as well, if we meet I would love to show you! I am looking for a family of my own, one that will be as loyal to me as I will be to them. My foster mom says I need a strong person to give me guidance and reassurance, I thrive on positive reinforcement. I try to do what I’m told but sometimes I still want to be a puppy! I am house-trained, walk pretty well on a leash, but if I see someone I want to visit with, I can be a little strong, I am a work in progress.... but I probably have some training. My dream home is quiet and I would be the center of attention. My Mom says I am too energetic and strong to be with small children so I guess I need a home without children. I spend time with a female Rottie in my foster home, but I am a little picky about who I will play with. I don’t like when the other boys try to be boss. As you can see from my pictures, I am a big boy and everyone says I am very handsome, and a little goofy.
