My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Starlight: 2 yr old female white mitted, grey and white,
longhaired Manx
Fostered in Santa Cruz

This pretty girl was owner surrendered but no reason was given for her being left at the shelter.. All we know from her paperwork is that she likes cats and dogs and lived happily with 12 and 14 yr old kids. She was born in 1/11. I know she loves to play and will chase a feather forever. She is really into playing. She is a nice, healthy beautiful girl. Starlight is a bit shy with new humans and does not wear her heart on her sleeve. You will have to give her some time and lots of love and make her feel secure. She is a bit jumpy, as though she has not always felt safe. Right now she does not like to be held by strangers and though she cooperated with this photo shoot. she is not really interested in being held by friends. I expect her human companions have not been entirely trustworthy in her life so far.

Clearly she is a gorgeous girl. I love green eyes .They are always striking, no matter the color of the fur. She has beautiful soft long hair. You can see how long when you look where her tail isn't. All that which looks like a short tail back there is just long hair with no stub to speak of under it all. That surprised me. In Manx terminology she has a " rumpy riser' having only a very small piece of cartilage at the base of the spine. She weighs 9 pounds.

Starlight is a very good hearted girl and will blossom as she trusts
her new home and settles in to be happy. It will be fun to watch her unfold and be the playful loving kitten she is. This cat is a treasure and some family will be very lucky to have her companionship in their home.

She eats wet and dry and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
