Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet adoptable Kiara! She is a spayed 5 to 6-year-old, 8-lb grey and white tabby. She is described as an occasional friend who is loyal and loves to be around people. Kiara is fine with respectful kids, good with cats and is afraid of dogs.*
Her current rescuers saw her being tossed from a moving car last fall and took her in, but due to their family situation can't keep her permanently. As a consequence, Kiara doesn't like car rides to the vet (but pheremones and catnip in the crate help greatly). She is also very afraid of dogs and has a piece of her tail missing, so again, very understandable! She loves sitting under your chair, sunbathing, following you around the house, and is generally in the room with you. Other times, she loves prowling around and would love a basement to chase mice in! She is fine with a three-year-old regular guest to the house. Kiara's blanket, toys and brush come with her. This cute girl is the ultimate "rescue" and would love to settle into a home where she can be pampered as she deserves.
*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.
