Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet adoptable Finn! He is a 110-lb, 1 to 2-year-old Mastiff cross who is neutered and up-to-date on shots. Like many Mastiffs, he is fantastic with kids* and has a ball playing with another large dog. Finn is very people-focused and is a social butterfly. He makes great eye contact, responds to sit, stay, off, come, lay down and even more tricks. He needs a reminder to keep four paws on the floor at the first greeting of new people - he loves them and isn't the guarding type. Finn is very relaxed in the car, sleeps politely at the foot of the bed, and would love a fenced-in backyard. Finn would like his people to be home a lot as he gets very anxious when left alone. On leash, he only needs a few reminders at the start to be "easy" or "slow" and he heels the remainder of the walk. This young boy is a little under-socialized and the vet says he needs to gain around 20-lbs, but Finn has a great desire to please and with just a little exposure, guidance and training, will mature into a lovely companion for his family. Finn is a very loving, sweet, affectionate dog (he even lets cats groom him!) but has severe separation anxiety when left alone. We are working on this and we believe with TIME and TRAINING he will get over it- he needs security, love, stability and a patient family. We do believe he can overcome this. He is such a sweet, loving, gentle dog but has been through so much in his life and needs to be given compassion.
