Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aslan
7 Year Old Tawny Spotted Ocicat; Vacaville
Courtesy Post
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat. We take no responsibility for health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this.
Aslan is a very special CFA registered Ocicat. He was purchased as a kitten from a local breeder. He will be the perfect friend to you and loves being with people all the time. Aslan is very handsome, intelligent, very affectionate and wonderful. He loves to play and likes kids, sometimes sleeping with his owners son. Aslan has also been around a dog and seemed to do fine.
Aslan has been indoors his whole life, so needs an indoor only home. Aslan is healthy, neutered, and current on shots. Aslan would do best in a home with someone who is home a lot as he can be a bit needy.
Ocicats are said to be a very outgoing breed. They are often considered to have the spirit of a dog in a cat's body. Most can easily be trained to fetch, walk on a leash and harness, come when called, speak, sit, lie down on command and a large array of other dog-related tricks. Most are especially good at feline agility because they are very toy-driven. Some even take readily to the water. Ocicats are also very friendly and sociable. They are not often shy around strangers. This makes them great family pets, and most can also get along well with animals of other species, although they are likely to assert their dominance over all involved. Ocicats make excellent pets for people who want to spend a lot of time with their cat, but they do require more attention than cats who aren't so people-oriented.
