Bella’s Foster Home is located in Jacksonville, Fl

Bella is a Beautiful Black and Tan 1 yr old full of puppy energy, female German Shepherd. She is AKC Registered, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm preventative.


Bella was owner surrendered into Rescue due to former family not having enough quality time to spend with her and due to Bella’s fearful issues she was not doing well with very young children. They were too overwhelming for her. Bella was originally bought from a breeder that kept the dogs outside and Bella did not really have quality, socialization during her formative puppy years. Bella needs someone that understands shy/fearful behavior. She does well with confidence building exercises, very sweet, loving, and extremely playful. She is crate trained, and housebroken. She also LOVES to play with other dogs so a doggie companion for her would be extremely beneficial. She loves to play with her “friend” Duke here in Rescue and they have bonded so if someone wants to adopt two dogs please consider Duke and Bella as a Pair. An application needs to be completed prior to a meet and greet. All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.


Adoption fees range from $100 - $450 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.


Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior before final adoption.
