Dexter's Story...
Dexter is about 7 months old and a normal happy puppy boy that enjoys running around the back yard and playing with his toys. He is in a foster home with 2 older children and 2 other dogs and does well with all of them. He is crate trained and house trained. Dexter sleeps through the night and hasn't destroyed anything in the home. In the time we have gotten to know him we know that he is very food motivated, loves toys and playing with other dogs. He is good with children and enjoys car rides, walks, running and hanging in the house. He would love to explore and see the world if you are a hiker or avid walker. He is a good little boy and should not get much bigger than 45 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter, a Denver Boxer/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Boxer/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
