Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When our rescuer first met Phoebe..she was greeted by a very self-confident 10 month old pup with tons of kisses to share! After a love and hug session, Phoebe became inquisitive about who this wonderful person was who had come to visit her. Her intelligence and great temperament became clear as she investigated. It became apparent that Phoebe is an active puppy...but never did she appear hyper or pushy....it was more the sense that a long walk or a run in the park would be greatly appreciated and enjoyed by this adorable girl. So off Phoebe went to the park...she was very manageable and willing to learn about leash skills and proper behavior. She's learning every day with the enthusiasm that is part of her temperament. Phoebe learns very quickly and is very respectful in the home....she is house trained and has never been destructive in her foster home. We'd like Phoebe to be adopted into a family that will provide the stimulation that she loves....a retired couple or individual or a family that loves to spend time with their dog. Phoebe is a perfect 12 pound size to be very portable...she's great in the car and in social situations. We would love to see her in positive reinforcement training class - she has so much to offer as far as great behavior and would respond so well to stimulation to keep her happy and fulfilled. Phoebe is a non-shedding girl and therefore will require periodic grooming to keep the gorgeous colors in her coat shining and matt-free.
Phoebe will be transported to Denver on 6/29. Applications are currently being accepted for this exceptional companion and family member.
