Cinder's Story...
This gorgeous girl is Cinder, a black lab mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a wonderful home. Cinder is a little over 4 years old and is such a sweet, happy-go-lucky lady. She never stops smiling and that tail of hers just goes a mile a minute! Cinder is very outgoing and friendly, and makes new friends easily. Although she is a mix, she has lots of Labrador retriever in her because she is an expert retriever! She will bring back as many balls as you throw for her, and is so great about handing over her toys. She is very gentle and well behaved too. Cinder has a lot of energy and would love a home where she can get plenty of exercise, and run and play too. Cinder gets along well with other dogs and just adores all people that she meets, so she would make a great addition to any loving, caring family that promises to give her the best home ever! 6/12/13 File#22523

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cinder, a Forked River Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
