Cutter's Story...
My name is Cutter. I was dumped out in the country and found my way into town where I was picked up by the dog catcher. Luckily, the shelter folks pulled me from the City pound. They tell me I'm a really handsome boy but I have lots of energy so being in a kennel has been hard on me. I'm trying to learn to sit and behave myself but I need someone to love me and spend some time with me. I get along with all the other dogs and love to run and play. I could be your new best friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cutter, a Post Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Post, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Post.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Post already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Post breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Post paves the way for another one to be saved.
