Cain's Story...
Hi. Meet Cain! Cain is 1 year old friendly boy. He has all his vaccinations ( 3 year ) heartworm tested negative and he is microchipped, but chip is not registered yet. His owner was a 19 year old who wanted a dog when he moved out. All his owner did was work so there would be monies to pay for his place, and regretfully there was minimal time spent on training and just basic attention for Cain. The owner got kicked out of his house, along with the roommates for having a party which almost got Cain shot by the sheriffs. They did not know what kind of a pup Cain was so they did not know how to react. The owners mom came to get Cain, she was frustrated because Cain is too much dog for her and her lifestyle. That's when Top Notch Kennels came to the rescue! This way Cain is feed regularly, has basic training, can play and socialize all day with the other dogs. Cain gets along well with other dogs, yet like any new pup, he needs to be watched. A crate is recommended while owners are away. Adoption donation fee is $250.

Please contact Top Notch Kennels for more information on Cain's adoption at: 630-554-9001
Thank you for considering adoption and giving Cain a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cain, a Elmhurst Boxer/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Elmhurst, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Elmhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
