My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruffles. Female terrier mix. 5 years.
Introducing Ruffles!!!! Ruffles is a super-sweet terrier mix found running scared in Kingwood on July 2, 2013. She was rescued by a kind lady until a foster was found. To meet Little Miss Ruffles, contact mariasalway@gmail.com.

Hi, everyone! I'm Ruffles!! I am about 5 years old I think. That's what the vet says. I can't really tell time too well. I'm super-sweet like my foster mom says and love to pal around with my foster brother and sister. Sometimes I try to play with the younger one but she's still a puppy and I can't always keep up, so then I chill with the older one.
Mom has 2 teenage boys who are super cool too. They are teaching me how to text and how to get out of doing chores. Mom's boyfriend has 2 Kindergarten-aged boys and they are cool too, but I don't really get too, too close to them unless they drop food.
Mom has a cat too. She goes in and out. I may bark 2 or 3 times at her just so the other dogs don't think I'm a sissy, but I really don't care too much if she's around. She minds her own business and stays away anyhow.
I'm now up to date on all my shots, Capstar for flea prevention, Heartguard (I am Heartworm negative on my very first try!!) I got spayed too. No more puppies for this gal! I have some hair loss and am still being treated with OTC shampoos and creams. Nothing serious, so don't worry. I had some infected flea bites and skin problems. Mom had to get rid of a lot of fleas, and the Dr. gave me antibiotics so I am almost all better now:)
I hear mom tell people I am the "perfect dog" for anyone, whatever that means. I don't shed, I don't make her itch, I sleep in a crate and don't pee in the house, I get along with everyone, I know how to "sit" and always sit for my leash to go on cause I loooove my walks! I love to cuddle and watch tv, especially game shows. I am a great watchdog, but when you let your friends in I am very nice and polite to them:) I can't wait to meet my new family!! mariasalway@gmail.com
