Cory's Story...
Meet Cory!

Cory is a young buck at appx 2 years old, and weighs in at around 40lbs. We aren't sure of his breed mix, but probably has some JRT and some Border Collie or Cattle Dog in him! His fur is thick and soft, but not long, and his one ear stands up while the other flops over!

Cory is a well behaved guy and he loves playing and wrestling with his canine pals. He's great with other dogs, cats and children. He's been neutered and vaccinated and he's ready to find his new family!

Cory is fostered in Mason City, Iowa and you will need to travel to his foster home to meet him. If you are interested in Cory, please complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cory, a Albert Lea Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie for sale in Albert Lea, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Albert Lea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albert Lea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albert Lea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albert Lea paves the way for another one to be saved.
