Greta's Story...
Greta is a 5 yr old petite girl who had a loving human who passed away. She then seems to have been neglected before being turned into the county shelter which is where we met her and brought her into our family. She was then spayed, frontlined, vaccinated, licensed and diagnosed with tick fever. Greta is on daily antibiotics to help combat the tick fever for about the next 4 weeks. She is a beautiful girl who had a terrier housemate so we know she, at least, gets along with smaller dogs. Greta is so very sweet and just wants to be with you.

If you would like to meet Greta just contact us at gsdadoption@savingpawsrecueaz.com for an appointment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Greta, a Phoenix German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
