Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zoey is a loving and lovable gal. She is about 37lbs (we've been taking nice long walks, which has helped her lose a few pounds in just a few weeks already!)
She gets so excited about taking walks that she leaps up in the air when you have the leash out.
She has never had any accidents in the house. Even though we have a backyard she prefers to do her business on walks. If we are having a slow moving morning she waits and will hold it until we get out on our walks.
She can be tough to walk but is getting better. Because of her size she is petty strong and pulls when she sees other dogs or squirrels.
She is good with most other dogs but has an occasional "problem" with some. I think it might be the overly excited ones that make her nervous. But once she gets her “meet and greet” with them she is usually fine and walks away looking for something good to sniff.
She loves a good belly rub and snuggling up with people.
She is great with kids. Loves the attention from them. She enjoys a game of chase and fetching balls.
We started out crating her a night and while gone but she proved to be excellent uncrated.
However, I do crate her at night to give my cats a break from her. She tends to want to chase and bay at them as if they are squirrels, which she likes to chase as well. At night she just goes in her crate without a fuss.
She listens when told to get down or no.
She loves taking a nap on the cool hardwood floor or snugging on a pillow on the couch.
Zoey has such a cute personality and would love to find her forever home soon. Could that be you??
