Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This incredibly handsome boy is Jesse, a 2 1/2 year old black lab that would love a great home of his own. Jesse was surrendered to us when his owner was evicted. Poor Jesse had a severe flea infestation when he came in and lots of his hair was missing. We have since taken care of that problem and he is looking fantastic again, and feels much better too! Jesse is a little shy when he meets new people but once he gets to know you, he really comes out of his shell. He is just such a nice, good-natured boy that wants to be loved and wants a good home where people will be kind to him and give him lots of attention. Jesse is strong but with a harness on, he walks very nicely on a leash. He will also sit instantly when asked and is very patient when he's being leashed up and going through doors. Jesse has not had much exposure to other animals but he doesn't seem to mind other dogs much. He loves his time in our exercise yard and loves to roam and check things out as opposed to running around like a wild man.
