Mr. Tails and Ted are family. Mr. Tails is Ted's father. Mr. Tails is a CFA registered Manx, born 4/5/2006. Ted is not CFA registered but both his mom and dad are so he is a purebred Manx. Ted was born 7/5/2007. A family tree will be included with the adoption. These two boys must be placed together. They have been together since Ted's birth. Ted is extremely quiet and a bit skittish. His father, Mr. Tails, does all the communicating for both of them. As you can see from the photos they want to be near each other and love each other very much. In the photos, Ted is the bigger boy, weighing about 20 pounds and none of that is fat.
Mr. Tails and Ted are very cute and clean boys. Although Ted will not totally object to a bath he does not love baths the way Mr. Tails loves baths. This is a good thing because the only issue with Mr. Tails is that he gets an ocular discharge from his eyes that has been addressed by a vet a few times and has been ruled as just a normal part of his life and not an infection or otherwise harmful to him. He loves a wet wash cloth to his face to wash it off. Mr. Tails and Ted are quite the entertainers. Both are playful and lovers of lazer tag and string toys.They have earned a big thumbs up for being quiet at night and only meowing when their owner fails to get up after the snooze button goes off several times or forgets to put food in their food bowl. Manx cats are much like a dog and will accompany you by lying near wherever you may be.
Mr. Tails and Ted adapt easily to new situations and both have their own personalities. Mr. Tails likes to greet you when you come home and then play a game where you follow him around trying to pick him up. He will wait and when you bend down to get him, he will take a few steps and when you catch up to him he will do it again then finally let you pick him up. It's very funny and interaction time is thoroughly enjoys. Ted is shyer but at play time he comes running. The boys will nap when you do and like to sleep together. They learn quickly where they are allowed to go with just a gentle, it's ok or no.
Mr. Tails and Ted are both neutered and healthy. Their original owner was afraid that they would be the small percentage of cats that are allergic to shots so they have not had shots but go to the vet regularly. They are both indoor cats and have not been around other animals.
