Sunny's Story...
**Sunny is located near Oswego, IL**

Sunny and his sister, Cher, were on death row at Chicago Animal Control. They were also listed as feral. IAR rescued them at the last minute, and took them to a foster.

Once they were situated, it turned out they weren't feral, just young and completely terrified! They turned out to love people; they just needed a bit of TLC. Sunny loves people and kitties--and he especially loves playing and snuggling.

Sunny is approximately 8 weeks old. He would love to be adopted with his sister.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Palatine Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
