THEIR STORY:
Mama (Luna) was abandoned (most likely due to the fact that she was pregnant) in a wooded area to fend for herself. She had her babies outside and didn't even know what to do. Bob Belt came to their rescue and cleaned the babies and freed them from the placenta and umbilical cord that was wrapped all around them. The babies were lucky to be alive! Mama Luna is the sweetest 6-8 month old kitten ever and is such a good mom to them now that she knows what to do!. ****Mama Luna has been spayed, given rabies and distemper combo shot, tested NEGATIVE for Feluk/FIV, de-wormed, and has advantage on the back of her neck for fleas.
PERSONALITY: She is a talker. Everytime I go in the rescue room she is meowing at me. She also loves to be petted and is absolutely stunning. IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM ME:
1) You must show up with a cat carrier for a safe return to his/her new home (15 dollars at walmart, although I adivse anyone to get a BIGGER size as you never know how big your kitty will get and they will always be more comfortable with traveling in it.
2) I will have you fill out an adoption contract (your personal information as well as mine).
3) I am asking new parents to pay an adoption fee of $60 dollars to help cover some of the cost of her and to help me continue what I love. The $60 dollars covers SOME of the cost I have into her. She has been spayed, given rabies and distemper combo shot as well as checked NEGATIVE for FELUK/FIV. She also has been de-wormed and has advantage on the back of her neck for fleas.
4) I will also take a picture of you to add to my adoption book. YOu can check out my book during the adoption process if you'd like. I will also send you the picture a week or two later as that is the time I check on you and the kitty to make sure the adoption is going well.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE FROM ME:
1) You will receive a 4 page informational packet that can answer any questions you may have. Has information of places to get discounted meds and other things.
2) Spay/Neuter certificate OR vet documents
3) Copy of the adoption contract (will have kittens DOB and background on it as well as my contact information)
