This handsome and happy guy is Frederick, a 3 year old poodle/bichon mix that came to us from our Newark facility in hopes of getting a great home of his own. Fred had a home, but was surrendered when his owners could no longer care for him. Fred is an energetic little guy that doesn't let anything get him down. He is constantly smiling and although he's a little shy with new people, he's always willing to make a new friend. Frederick is loving all of the friends that he's made already, and really enjoying going for long walks and having playtime in our giant exercise yard. Fred is a huge toy fan, and all you have to do is squeak one, and he's dancing with delight on his hind legs! Fred has no problem with sharing his toys and plays gently too. He gets along well with other dogs, but likes to be the dominant one at times. Frederick gets a little overwhelmed with too much touching and commotion, so we would like him to go to a home with no small children under the age of 12. Once Frederick gets to know you, he'll be your best friend for life. He's very affectionate and has a warm and bubbly personality.....now he just needs a great family to share his bubbles with!
