Here's what the humans have to say about me:
VELVET – 18 month female mastiff. Velvet is currently in a foster home with RR Willie and their male dog, Sam, and doing very well. When Velvet first came into RR she was scared and confused. It didn’t take her long though to realize she was safe and began playing with the boys. She is quite the love bug and like her name, her coat is so smooth and soft, just like velvet. VELVET is housebroken and crate trained. She loves to play in the yard and enjoys her new companions. Because of her size, if her new family has children, they should be over the age of 10.
UPDATE - VELVET is fully recovered from her cherry eye surgery and doing really well. Velvet is doing great in her foster home where she is loves to snuggle and just hang out with the family. Velvet does love to play and would do well with a male that is similar in size. She is a well behaved girl who does know some basic commands. Velvet is still a puppy at a 1.5 with typical puppy energy. She has asked that if it is possible, she would love to have a yard where she can run. Velvet is such a sweetheart and is more than ready to finally have her own furever home.
