My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tai was rescued from a local NJ shelter after he was found by a good samaritan tied to a fence post. Tai is about a year old so right now he is full of energy and will need a family that can keep up with him or at least stay in the same race :)
Tai has come to us needing some leash manners and basic obedience training. Even though he lacks some manners, Tai takes a correction well and has already learned not to jump up on people and to behave on leash. We think there is hope for him yet !!!... Despite Tai's lack of basic training (which we have already made great progress with) Tai remains very sweet-natured and willing to please. We feel Tai would do best in a home with an active family that is willing to continue Tai's obedience work, and who can put the time and effort into making Tai the awesome well-mannered akita he is going to be in the near future. If you have what it takes to give Tai the guidance he needs, we can tell you it will be worth every effort as this is a very loving boy!
