Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Bellamia and I’m a 1 yr. old female, Black, 50 lb. Lab mix. Because of my sleek Lab body, you’ll find that I’m a great outdoor hiking or jogging friend. I’m currently lucky enough to be living with about 15-20 dogs daily, CAGE FREE. Why you ask? Well my friends at SCLRR realized that I lack basic training that could eventually lead me to make wrong decisions. So I am one of the privileged SCLRR foster dogs to be in a 5-week basic training camp. Not all dogs can say they’ve gone through such an awesome makeover. I actually get to be a dog…with dogs… every doggone day of the week! When I am ready to graduate, I hope it is with you so that we can immediately start to practice my new training techniques. As for my personality…well, I love people and am very affectionate with deep soulful eyes. I am safe with children, all dogs, and really just want to be your human companion. I am housebroken, a good walker on the leash, and non-destructive. I’m young so don’t forget that my youth makes me overly curious but this can be corrected with my new command system. If you are interested in meeting me and are willing to officially adopt me while in training… PLEASE contact your family rep! My SCLRR foster-mom will make arrangements for us to meet at camp so that you can get to know me and to see how well I’m doing with my commands.
PS My trainer will personally give you a lesson on my command system so you can be as efficient as I. Serious inquiries only please (heehee).
If you are interested in making this Lab part of your family, please contact your SCLRR family representative. If you have not yet applied with us, please submit an online application to adopt; an SCLRR volunteer will then contact you. Please note that your homecheck must be approved in order for you to be put in touch with the dog’s foster home.
