2013-07-25: Well hello there! My name is Sun Shine and I am a sweet girl, around 10 year old. My foster mom says I am beyond adorable. My story is pretty sad; somebody dumped me in a parking lot next to a lady’s car that had rescue signs on her car. This nice lady took me to the vet and then called SCLRR to see if they can take me in. I do not understand why my previous family left me there because my foster mom says that I am the PERFECT dog. My foster mommy says that I am one of the sweetest dogs she has ever had. I am always a happy, friendly dog! Now that I am healthy I am ready to find my own family to love and live happily ever after with. I love people, I love dogs and I even like cats. I actually live with a cat in my foster home and sometimes we nap together. I will be very respectful of your home. I am extremely low maintenance. I am completely trustworthy in the house; I do not have bad habits like chewing, stealing things, etc. I do not go to the bathroom in the house. I get along with everyone, other dogs and children. Just because I looove everyone!!!
Yes, I am a bit stiff because of arthritis but I gets medication for that and I am feeling better. I have good food now and a fluffy bed. Once I started my medication for arthritis I could walk a little longer. I cannot go for very long walks because I get tired but a short walk in the area with a little break would be just enough for me.
SCLRR gave me a complete makeover – they ran full blood tests, urinalysis, X-Rays, dental cleaning and some lumps were removed.
