Winnie's Story...
Winnie, born the end of May in the Midwest, moved to San Diego but with no where to live is now in foster care with a nice lady with some other "kids" awaiting that day when someone says "I want to adopt her and give her the best life ever". A petite little girl, will probably get to be about 6 to 7 pounds at adult just adores being by your side day and night. She is doing so well already with her potty training and loves to go bye bye. She does get under foot so you do have to be careful of those little toes. If you would like to have more info on Winnie please send in your completed application found on the web site Small puppies and small children are not a good match, please consider breakage costs like we see.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
