Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hurricane Sandy sure took a toll on residents of the Garden State, and these two adorable boys are no exception. Meet Junior and Papi, 8 year old rat terrier brothers that lost their home in the storm. The boys have been staying with their family in temporary housing until their home is rebuilt and the landlord made an exception and allowed the boys to stay. Time ran out, and the landlord said the pups must go, so these sweet little littermates are hoping for a fresh start in life. We will be keeping the boys together, since they have been together their entire lived. Junior and Papi are understandably upset to be uprooted from the only home that they have ever known, but they are making friends quickly and realize that they are in good hands. We've tried to make them feel at home with lots of fluffy blankets, beds, toys and plenty of TLC, but they would love a home of their own. They are both very well-behaved little guys that are affectionate and friendly. They get along with other dogs and do great with kids too! Junior and Papi are the types to climb up and your lap and make themselves comfortable as soon as they get to know you. They enjoy long, leisurely strolls and are having a good time checking out our giant exercise yard. Junior and Papi would do well in any great home with a family that promises to love and care for them forever. Please help our boys put the storm behind them, and give them a sunny future! 8/3/13 File#22710 and 22711
