NIKODEMUS
15 mo Black Straight Selkirk Rex, Born 8/15/06

The Selkirk breed is so rare that we've never seen them in Rescue prior to this year. But, we were lucky enough to have Nikodemus, La Creme Nikita, and Nikolina come to us all at once.

Niko is a stunning black Selkirk with a face and coat that make him look like a classic faced Persian. This is a drop dead gorgeous boy. He's like a puppy dog. Every night when she comes home from work his foster mom find him waiting for her with his face pressed to the glass paned door. He then follows her everywhere she goes through out the house, up the stairs, down the stairs, in the bathroom.

Nikodemus was pretty shy when he first got here, but now he gets along with everyone. He likes the other cats and will play with the kittens in his foster home. He even finds the dogs tolerable. He likes to be picked up and snuggled for a bit now, too.

We're not sure that a household with very small children would be suitable, but a gentle teenager with lots of cat experience might be perfect for him.

Nikodemus is being fostered in the Greater Sacramento Area along with his sister La Creme Nikita. They are not bonded, so they can go to separate homes, but we'd LOVE it if they could find a home together.
