Hi People, Mattie
My name is Mattie and I’m a darling little bichon of one who weighs all of 10.8 pounds. My foster Mom says I’m adorable, fun, happy and sweet – and everyone I meet agrees. That includes big people, little people, dogs and cats. They all like me and I like them. Dad says I’m a cuddler and a lover: incredibly sweet, charming, eager to please, and VERY smart!
MattieI love to play: you should see me with my doggy foster sister! We wrestle and play then nap, wake up and start all over again! I am housebroken, a great walker. I walks easily and without straining. I also love to ride in the car. Mom says I’m a great copilot. I sit quietly in the passenger seat and look out the window. Did I mention also that I’m warm and loving around children and that I’m a master snuggler, too!
When I first became a FurKid I had been wandering the streets of Watsonville. My aunties at Bichon FurKids wondered how a little girl like me was able to survive on the streets. They said an angel was watching over me! With a loving foster family, doggy foster brothers and sisters to learn from and a wonderful foster Mom and Dad to guide me, I have blossomed! (Silly me. You'd think I'm a flower rather than a FurKid!)
Mom says I’m always good company, a little mischievous, great with adults and children (I even let them dress me up and it’s not yet Halloween!) and love having other furkids around. I’m good with big dogs and small dogs and anything in between. Mom also says I have a very patient way about me – and that I could someday be a therapy dog. I’m not sure exactly what that means but Mom says it’s a good thing.
There is no doubt that I’m a darling little girl with lots of love to give. I would be happiest in a home with people who are home most of the time and with children I can entertain, love and enjoy. Another furkid or two would be wonderful too. So if you like to go for walks and rides, want a loving companion and like to snuggle please ask for me. I’ll be waiting to meet and adore you.
