Anchor's Story...
-- WATCH MY VIDEO!! --

Hi. I'm Anchor. I am a four year old Pointer/Boxer/Staffordshire mix. I am very smart and I know a lot of commands that I would love to show off to you. I also love to play fetch and I am very people-oriented. I love to be loved, and I crave affection from people and would be great in a home with children. I also love to exercise, so I would love to have a new owner who wants to take me for long walks and hikes. I have no problem with cats but I have some issues with other dogs. I have spent two months living with dog trainers who have worked on my dog issues; however, they recommend that I be placed in a home with no other dogs. The dog trainers I worked with are happy to consult with my new adopters. I would LOVE to find a new owner who has experience handling dog-aggressive dogs. While I may not like other dogs very well, that just means that I put all my love into people!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anchor, a Worcester Boxer/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Boxer/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
