Monster's Story...
Jacob was adopted at 8 weeks old as a kitten from FOWA. His name now Buddy and he had a home but he can no longer stay there. His current owners just found out their nephew is very allergic to cats....so much so that there is a risk of him going into anaphylactic shock. He loves people and is a fun loving guy! He has been around a big lab and they got along fabulously. We are hoping to find him a new home that will be his forever spot. He is up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you need more information call 973-902-7515 and apply online www.fowa.petfinder.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monster, a Wayne Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wayne, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wayne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wayne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wayne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wayne paves the way for another one to be saved.
