This sweet little angel is Lucy, a 2 year old shih Tzu/pug mix that would love a forever home of her own. Lucy had a home, but her owners turned her in because they "no longer wanted her". This sweet pea had a pretty severe flea infestation upon arrival and she lost lots of her hair because of it. She received medical treatment right away and is flea-free and feeling fine! Her fluffy coat will come back in no time, but she is beautiful just the way she is. Lucy was a little shaken up to be taken from the only home she ever knew, but she has settled in and is making friends. Lucy is a bit shy with new people but once she checks you out for a few minutes, she'll be your best friend if you're good to her. Lucy just wants to be loved and cared for, and she has plenty of love to give in return. She can be very affectionate and is so gentle and sweet. She walks perfectly on a leash and sits nicely when asked. Lucy enjoys a nice, leisurely stroll, but would be perfectly content to cozy up with someone that loves her and be a little lap dog. Lucy doesn't seem to mind other dogs and is fine with people of all ages once she gets to know them. This lovely little lady is so deserving of a great home....please give her the second chance that she's hoping for! File#22820 9/4/13
