My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Is it a bird, a plane.... no, it is APPLE! Rescuing dogs from the shelter is so rewarding but Apple took rewarding to a new place. This once sad Italian Greyhound/Min Pin mix pup just sat and sat in the shelter just longingly hoping her family would come for her. Apple was in the medical ward as she came in with a broken leg. Her nails were painted pink so the shelter hoped her family would come looking for her.....they did not!

Take Me Home did come, and we saved her! Apple went from a sad puppy to all smiles! We have never seen a dog just smile and smile! We took her to our expert orthopedic surgeon who said that Miss Apple was healing just fine! She is around four months old and so very smart. She is already learning the doggy door to go potty outside.
