Freckles's Story...
Freckles is a 10 year old cocker spaniel that is hoping that someone is wanting to open up their heart and home to him. He was surrendered to us due to circumstances of a renter being over their limit of pets. It is sad circumstances for Freckles at this point in his life, however, we assured him that there is someone out there just for him! Freckles is calm and affectionate with wonderful house manners! He likes to be near you and go on walks. He is good with other dogs and is housebroken. If you need a good friend and walking buddy, Freckles just might be your guy. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freckles, a Richmond Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
