My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Everyone! Keike
My name is Keike which is Hawaiian for child and I’m a perfect bichon boy. I’m a happy (you can see that in my smile), loving, active yet easy-going bichon boy of twelve, and I am as affectionate as I am handsome. (And that’s not bragging as I would never do that!)
When I came to my first Mom’s house, I was a little puppy. We were living in Maui then and I became her child. She and I grew up together and we were the best of friends and companions. I taught her how to play – and walk - and I especially taught her how to snuggle. She taught me how to dance on mu hind legs for treats and how to play. Keike
One day my mom become very frail and could not do those things with me anymore. Then she got really sick and went to this place called a hospital. When she didn’t come back I missed her a lot. I also missed my walks and rides in the car but I would never complain. One day Mom’s daughter told me that my life was going to change in a happy way! She said I was going to become a FurKid and once again be in a home where I can do the things we used to do together.
So right now I have a foster mom and dad and a doggy foster brother. He’s a bichon too and it’s nice to have company. I do my best to get him to play, as I like all dogs I meet. I do the ‘puppy bow’ and wag my tail and smile my very best smile. That usually meets with success and I’m pretty happy when that’s the case.
Most of all I love having human company ‘cause my first mom and I spent a lot of time together. Why I helped her to work on her computer, watch TV, read books (well, she did the reading really) and also cook in the kitchen. And I’m doing that now again – which makes me very happy!
Dad says I’m also very social and loving. I give kisses to everyone (even my doggy foster brother) and I love to be brushed and cuddled. I am eager to please, very smart and a master cuddle bug. I love to snuggle throughout the day but at night I go quietly into my little ‘house’ and sleep through the night.
What I really need now is a forever family to call my own. Will you be the one for me? I promise to be the very best companion – and I’ve had lots of practice! If I sound like your kind of guy, please complete our application so we can meet.
Bichon waves and wags,
Kissable and Kind Keike
