Hi Everybody, Dash
I’m Dash (but you can call me Dashing) as I’m a handsome and happy five year-old Bichon who is also energetic, sweet, playful and loves everyone - big people and small people, other dogs and even giraffes! I'll bet you haven't seen anyone quite like me!
Mom wants you to know that I am friendly, loving and generally calm - but I'm no couch potato! I also like to play, play, play. Give me a squeaky toy and I’m in heaven. Or a ball I can toss in the air and play fetch by myself. My other favorite 'toys' is my doggie foster sister. We run and play chase and have lots and lots of fun.
DashDad says that I love to learn and am VERY SMART. In fact he says I’m one of the smartest guys he has ever known! He says I’m also great in the car and that I'm a wonderful passenger. I sit quietly and just look out the window and enjoy every place we visit. He says to tell you also that I am housebroken, enjoy going for my walks and am always interested in learning new commands. I'm smart and I want to please!
Now if you wonder how I got my name, it was because I 'dashed' my way into being a furkid. I was smart enough to show up at the home of a FurKid foster Mom and Dad when I was just a pup (I sensed a good thing when I sniffed it!), Then I got adopted ‘cause I’m handsome and oh-so-lovable. But my family decided not to make me a priority in their lives. They went off to do things and left me at home to fend for myself. That wasn’t for me – so I dashed back! I'm now content to be in a foster home, with Mom, Dad and my doggie friends.
I would, however, love to be in a forever home, with my very own people and another furkid or two. I'd also love to go with my people wherever they go – and I would be amazingly good at something they call ‘agility.’ (Mom says that’s where I can show how very smart, graceful and agile I am.)
