My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is an adorable little 6 year old Yorkie that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great home. He was found as a stray, and it's hard to imagine this tiny tot wandering the city streets all alone, but luckily he was picked up and is safe, and he's in good hands now. Max is so gentle, and has such a sweet and lovable personality. He's outgoing but never overbearing, and makes friends very easily. Max never really met anyone he didn't like. As soon as a staff member or volunteer goes to take him out for a walk, he will climb right up in your arms and just wants to be held. When you do put him down to walk, he just trots along like the perfect little gentleman. Max is very well behaved and is content to go for leisurely strolls, or just cozy up to a warm lap. He's just an overall great little guy that deserves the best home ever....please give him the second chance that he's hoping for. File#22848 6/18/13
