My name is Abby Sun, but my friends call me Abby. I am a yellow female, 7 years old, and I weigh about 65 pounds. I am a happy go lucky kind of girl and my foster parents say that I am extremely sweet. I will always greet you with my wagging tail – that is just the type of girl I am. My favorite thing in the whole world is to put my head on your lap for special head rubs. I will never say no to belly rubs either. My foster parents say that I am truly loving and affectionate and I really love my people.
My previous owners had to move so they turned me in to SCLRR so they could find me a new awesome family. With my previous family I lived with 3 young kids and I was wonderful and gentle with them.
I would prefer to go to an active family that will exercise me regularly. I LOVE going out for walks or hikes. I would make a great jogging partner. I have good leash manners. Oh well, maybe not perfect – if I see another dog coming my way I get all excited and I REALLY want to meet him. So I will TALK to him on my own language which is a bit loud at times. I do pull a little when I am on leash but my foster dad is using a pinch collar and I learned to slow down when I have to. Even though I am 7 years old I am pretty active and I love playing fetch as well. Once I’ve had my exercise for the day, I will settle down nicely for naps in my cozy bed, a girl always needs her beauty rest!
I am the perfect house guest: 100% housebroken, I know how to sit and down and I go to my place when I am asked to. I love following around my foster parents through the house. I sleep quietly through the night in my doggie bed. I don’t have bad habits like chewing or stealing things from my foster brother and sister. I don’t jump on people either.
I am really good with other dogs and cats as well. Here at my foster home I live with 2 other dogs and 2 kitties. Plus I walk with 8 other dogs every night at the park and we are all best friends!!! I would LOVE to go to a home with another dog just so I have a doggie buddy during the day when you are not home.
