Cody's Story...
Cody is a 4 year old yorkie who is looking for his new forever home. He is a good boy who is friendly and loving and gets along well with other dogs. He does well with his housetraining when taken out on a schedule. He will need a family to commit to getting him groomed on a regular basis to keep him comfortable as he does not shed. He weighs 7.5 pounds.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the "Adoption Process" tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested ( as appropriate), fecal tested, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Romeoville Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
