Bessie is a special needs Cairn Terrier mix because she is an older dog, is heart-worm positive and has had some tumors removed. When she came to the shelter, she also had tick fever. Despite her health problems, she is an extremely happy, loving girl. Her favorite place is on someone's lap. Since she has been groomed, she looks a lot like a Scotty. She will be available for adoption as soon as her heart worm treatment is completed.
