Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Well Hello there, Beagle lovers. I am Bianca. Doesn’t that sound exotic? Well, it sounds exotic because I am! I don’t mean to brag, but I am a beautiful, petite (16 pounds) Beagle girl with a playful, gentle spirit. I can melt your heart in an instant. I am 2 years old, with a lot of energy. I love to play, and would very much love to have another Beagle or two in my house.
You see, I grew up chained outdoors to a doghouse, with five other Beagles. Because of the neglect, I am pretty shy and not much used to being around people. Since I got to my foster home though, I am learning all about being a wonderful pet. I am learning only to potty outside, and learning to rest in my crate when no one is home. Those things are going pretty well.
I’m looking for a home with a lot of Beagle and Rescue experience, and let me tell you why. Since I haven’t had a lot of experience interacting with people, I am a little fearful around them. I also have a very strong tendency to bolt if given the chance. Believe me, I have nothing against you personally, it’s just my instinct to run, so that is what I do. My new forever family will still have some work to do to earn my trust, and must make sure I don’t get the chance to run off.
I love to play with the other 2 Beagles who live here, but I pretty much ignore the other dogs, who are older and don’t want to play. I also like to play with the toys laying around here, and like to chew on them. Oops- though, I’m having a bit of trouble figuring out which ones are toys and which ones are slippers and things I shouldn’t touch. I am absolutely captivated by the cat who lives here, but she is a very smart cat and stays well away from me. I’d probably do best in a home without cats for now.
I haven’t had the chance to be around little kids much, but I do love the little girl that comes to visit me and I would love to visit with some older kids and play. I’m still learning about car rides. Sometimes I am fine, other times I’ve gotten a little queasy.
So, to sum things up, I am one extra special exotic beauty, who is more than worth the training and extra care I still need. My foster mom says I am one special girl. I would love the chance to prove it in my new forever home, so if you think you are the family for me, please contact Midwest BREW. I would love to meet you!
