Here's what the humans have to say about me:
What can we say, but that Rufus is wonderful, amazing, and well-socialized. He is a gentle 2 to 2 ½ year old Rottweiler and American Bulldog, and weighs 65 pounds.
Rufus was originally found as a stray, dumped on the street by people who no longer cared about him. He was picked up by animal control and was out of time at the shelter. Everyone at the shelter loved him, and they begged if his life could please be saved.
Rufus is so docile and relaxed and happy, it’s easy to be best friends with him—you feel like you’ve known him forever. He is a couch potato during doggie TV night, and he is so well mannered, he instantly will go on his pillow and lie down if you don’t want him to lie in your lap. He obediently stays off the furniture unless you ask him to get up and sit next to you.
The only time he may bark, is when he hears the postman deliver mail :o) He will alert you when someone is on or around your property who maybe should not be. Rufus loves everyone, including children, but he is NOT socialized around cats.
Rufus is house trained, loves to be indoors with his “pack”, meaning you, loves car rides, loves going for walks, and chasing the water coming out of the garden hose. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and is ready for a loving, permanent home.
