My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PORTHOS
Born August 2013 Male, Pale Blue Eyed, White Turkish Angora

Porthos is a fun loving-boy very similar to the musketeer! Porthos is the greeter and extrovert! He even offers up some comic relief with most of his antics! He will prove a loyal companion.

Porthos has beautiful pale blue-colored eyes, with a gorgeous pure white coat of fur. A very handsome and dapper little boy! He loves playing with the ball in the wheel and climbing on the big cat tree. He can entertain himself for hours. He gets a kick out of sneak attacking the other kitties and he seems to have a perpetual cheerfulness surrounding him. He’s always looking to have some fun with his fellow musketeers. He tends to like and play with Aramis the most. You can catch them chasing each other up and down the hall or just hanging out on top of the condo.

He totally adores all people and completely fearless when it comes to new places and situations. He is great company and is interested in everything and anything you might be doing, he only wants to help! Of course he loves his toys too.

“Oh look, a mouse! Oh, a piece of lint! Oh, what’s that, a string? This is cool! Oh, a cupboard is open, what’s in there? Oops, better get out of here. Aramis can’t see me…sneaking… Gotcha! I think I need a rest. Where is my lap person? I need to climb around on them and find the best place to curl up!”

Turkish Angoras are beautiful and elegant but they are very athletic and intelligent too! The Turkish Angora has a boisterous side to their nature and a cleverness that makes them endlessly entertaining. They love to play and they keep the playfulness well into their senior years. They love their own family the best. To own a Turkish Angora you should have a sense of humor as well as patience. In summary these are affectionate, gentle cats that are devoted to their family; their precocious intelligence, resourcefulness, desire for interaction and play, and short attention span make them a wonderful family member and loyal friend…and your life will never be boring again.

It would be great if Porthos and Aramis could be adopted together. They would make a perfect “set” for your home with double the love and laughter. Preference will be given to those who will adopt them together.

Porthos will come to you neutered, tested, microchipped and vaccinated. He is litterbox perfect. He will be ready to go to his forever home anytime after November 14, 2014.

Porthos is fostered in Reno, NV.
