My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gentle and beautiful boy is Snickers. Snickers is a 2 - 4 year old pit bull that had a very rough start in life, but his luck changed recently. Snickers was one of several dogs that we removed from a residence during a raid on a residence by the federal authorities. Besides illegal drugs and guns in the house, there were several dogs there as well, all with a very bleak future. Young Snickers was one of the poor souls tied outside with heavy chains hanging from his neck. Ever since this angel came to us, he could not be any more grateful, gracious, loving and sweet if he tried. Yes folks....he is that nice. Snickers doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his little body, so you can imagine the life he would have had if he had been left in that horrid place. Snickers was a little thin and beat up when he arrived, but with good meals, medical care, and lots of TLC, Snickers is thriving now. He has a skin infection that we are treating and that should clear up soon as well. Snickers is well on the road to recovery and is putting his past behind him. He is now looking to start over in a great home with a wonderful family that will shower him with love, affection and kindness. Snickers has plenty of love to give too and he's never met anyone that he didn't like. He is very polite and friendly, and he makes friends easily. Snickers will need a little training with leash walking, as he tends to crawl and lie down during a walk, as if he has done something wrong, but he is learning fast that he will never be in trouble with us. This beautiful little boy is so deserving of the best of everything.....please make his dreams come true! File#22728 8/9/13
