Sheila's Story...
Meet Sheila! She is so cute and very affectionate. She loves kids and is great with other dogs. She enjoys playing with toys and giving kisses. Sheila is 2 years old and weighs 10 pounds. She's up-to-date on vaccinations. Sheila does have a fear of stairs and does not like to be grabbed suddenly. But who does?

Poor Sheila - sweet girl. She was found in a rural area stuck to some brush in the woods with a chain around her neck and a rope attached to it. She was very cut up and bleeding. Her rescuers took her to the vet and got her all fixed up. She's healing well and just looking for a lifelong, loving home. Sheila just loves children and truly enjoys companionship and attention. Please email pawsforliferescue@comcast.net for more information or to apply to meet Sheila!

We are not sure if Sheila is spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheila, a Troy Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Troy, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Troy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Troy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Troy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Troy paves the way for another one to be saved.
