My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER MOM (12/30/07): She came in after pottying and explored the house. She and Dakota had no problems, she seems to follow him around. They went outside and I introduced her to the Dobie, there was a little growling and hair standing up but no other problems. She went potty again. My son came home from work and played with her while Dak and I went to the pool. He worked at teaching her sit. She seems very happy. Curious about the cats but no problems there. There was a little food aggression but nothing serious, I let her eat out of Dak's dish and hand fed him (he loves that). Dak has a habit of grabbing one of his stuffed animals when someone comes in the house. She grabbed it too so she is sorta playing. She went after the ball when we threw it. and took a nap on Sean's sofa. I think she is adjusting well. I have her in the crate now.
Basically we are very good. ( i think I want to call her Rosey Sassafras)

Sassy is a sweet, petite lab that gave birth to 4 adorable puppies about 5 weeks ago. Is seems that she wandered on to the property of a family in North Georgia, and they decided to feed her. Well, when Miss Sassy gave birth to four black lab mixes, it was more than this family had bargained for. They decided to take her and her pups to Animal Control! Poor little Sassy is underweight at 37 lbs and nursing those hungry little pups. She needs to gain some weight on a hi-protein diet and will look svelte once she has gained about 10 lbs. She still will not be very big. At 2 years old, this is as big as she will get. She has a gorgeous suede/burnt orange colored coat. She has petite facial features that are very ladylike and pretty. Sassy is extremely calm and good with people and kids. She was not over-protective of her babies when we handled them. She has a sweet demeanor and her small size makes her an excellent lap lab! Come meet Miss Sassy! She is looking for a home to thrive in and be loved on!

Miss Sassy gave birth to 4 adorable black lab mixes about 5 weeks ago. These pups are only about 4-5 lbs right now! They are absolutely all boy and love to wrestle around and tumble with each other. Eli ,Peyton, Tiki, and Ronde are looking for a wonderful home where they can tackle, chase, and retrieve balls (maybe "footballs") for their new pack. If your pack needs a new member, check out these athletic pups!
