This petite little lady is Carmella, and Carmella has such sad eyes that she will just break your heart. Carmella is an 8 year old Chihuahua mix that was surrendered by her owner. It seems that Carmella was barking too much, and her owners neighbors in the apartment building complained enough so that Carmella would have to be given up. Carmella is shaken up to be uprooted from the only home that she's ever known, but she is making friends very quickly and just couldn't be any sweeter. Carmella is a shy little girl that approaches you timidly and with her little tail wagging with excitement. Once she sees that she can trust you, she'll gently climb in your lap and hope that you'll give her lots of love and attention. Despite what the neighbors say......Carmella is extremely well behaved and she is very quiet too. She walks perfectly on a leash and she would rather take a leisurely stroll with a friend than toss around toys. Carmella doesn't seem to mind other well behaved dogs or cats and would do well with mature children. She is so optimistic about starting her life over, and is hoping for a wonderful home with a family that will love her forever. File#23018 10/29/13
